PMI Fabrication Facilities

PMI has full service Fabrication shops at each of our California facilities (Pittsburg, Sacramento and Southern California). Each shop is set up to handle the full range of piping and structural fabrication encountered on the industrial projects performed by PMI for our industrial clients. From ASME, (B31.1 & B31.3) heavy wall code piping for the Power Industry to light wall food grade piping for the Food and Beverage Industry, we are experienced and ready to answer our client’s needs. Structural fabrication is generally limited to smaller projects and fabrication of supports for piping systems installed by PMI.

Welding is strictly controlled in accordance with PMI’s in-house Quality Control Manual as well as industry standard such as ASME, ANSI, NBIC and AWS codes. PMI has extensive experience and our own weld procedures for welding many types of alloy piping materials from various types of stainless steel, high chrome carbon steel and “exotic” materials such as aluminum, inconel, hastelloy, carpenter 20 and others.
