PMI was the primary mechanical contractor on this flue gas scrubber project. PMI's scope of work included all underground and aboveground piping, equipment setting, and duct installation.
PMI coordinated several sub-contractors, including all crane work. PMI was responsible for setting numerous pieces of equipment in excess of 100,000 pounds. The critical path portion of the project was constructed within a live operating unit.
At the peak point of construction, PMI employed over 600 craftsmen. The industrial mechanical construction project was originally scheduled for 18 months and was completed in 13. PMI had zero recordable injuries during this project.
